file-too-large

HTTP 413 Payload Too Large

The uploaded file is larger than this endpoint accepts. Nothing is stored.

Triggers

  • Files: POST /v1/files/upload and PUT /v1/files/:id enforce the maximum file size of your plan.
  • DPP documents: POST /v1/dpp/:id/documents enforces the maximum document size of your plan.
  • Product images: POST /v1/dpp/:id/images accepts images up to 10 MB on every plan.
  • Code import: POST /v1/codes/import accepts files up to 5 MB on every plan.
  • Request body: every request body on /v1/* is limited to 1 MiB; POST /v1/codes/batch and POST /v1/dpp/batch accept 2 MiB, upload and import routes the size of their file. A larger batch has to be split into several requests. The MCP server limits /mcp to 1 MiB.

What each plan allows is listed under Plan limits & notifications. Too many files per QR code or documents per DPP answers plan-limit; too much storage in total answers storage-limit-exceeded.
